Aurangabad, May 7:

Opthalmic officer of the Sub-district hospital at Sillod and president of the Aurangabad District Ophthalmic officers association Arunkumar Arakh (55, Takshashilanagar, Harsul) died due to Covid-19 on Friday while undergoing treatment. The last rites were performed on him at N-11 Crematorium. He is survived by wife, 2 sons, daughter, daughter-in-law, grandchildren 2 brothers and sister. He was an excellent singer and actor and also worked in some Marathi films. His films Maticha Ladha and Dangal were very popular. He had worked in the remote areas of Sillod and Soyegaon. He organized ophthalmology camp during the Corona period. The Government Opthalmic Officers Association has paid condolences on his death, informed the president of the association, Dr Mahesh Vaishnav.
