Chhatrapait Sambhajinagar: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) at 50 centres in the different parts of the city from 2 pm to 5 pm, on May 3. More than 17,400 students have registered for the test from the district. District Coordinator Anil Yadav stated that CCTV surveillance, corridor monitoring, and jammers have been installed at all examination centers. Police security has been deployed at every center. The appointed staff will take charge of the examination centers one day in advance.

Reporting Time & Entry Schedule

Candidates will be granted entry into the exam hall only after undergoing thorough frisking and biometric verification. Biometric attendance of the candidates will be taken at the entrance.

--Entry: The entrance gate will be opened at 11 am and will be closed at 1.30 pm sharp.

--Attire: While light clothing is preferred, candidates are allowed to wear full sleeves or woollens if they feel the need for it, subject to reporting to the centre well in advance to enable frisking.

--Footwear: Slippers and low heels are the preferred footwear.

--Mandatory Items: Admit card, ID proof, photographs, and a transparent water bottle.

--Stationery: Writing materials will be provided by the NTA

--Medical Exception: Students are permitted to carry medications as per a doctor's advice for specific illnesses.

Medical Teams & Ambulances on Standby

In view of the summer season, medical teams and ambulances have been kept ready. Arrangements have been made to ensure immediate assistance reaches any centre if required. Additionally, the District Collector has issued directives to ensure there are no power outages during the exam.
