Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The summer session examinations of polytechnic in Engineering and Pharmacy to be conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) will commence on April 24.
MSBTE Deputy Secretary Dr Devendra Dandgavhal said that a total of 2,04,901 students enrolled in short-term, polytechnic and D.Pharmacy courses would appear for the exams.
The exams, originally scheduled to begin on April 23, were pushed back by a day due to the Rahuri and Baramati assembly by-elections. Papers scheduled for April 23 will now be held on May 18. To curb malpractice, the board has deployed 145 flying squads this year.
The MSBTE divisional centre will have 38 exam centres across 13 districts, eight from Marathwada and the remaining from Khandesh. A total of 99,557 polytechnic and 85,756 D.Pharmacy students will appear for the exams from this division."

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar divisional board covers 13 districts, eight from Marathwada and five from the Nashik division. Exams will be conducted across 290 centres in 595 technical institutions, with two sessions daily- 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM.
Results are expected within 40 days. Notably, all diploma course answer sheets will be evaluated online this year, across 85 centres in the division.
For the broader MSBTE divisional region covering Marathwada and Khandesh, there are 38 centres across 13 districts.
