Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

As summer vacations begin, one common question arises every year “Will we get an ST ticket?” This year, the answer for residents of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is a confident “Yes!” The State Transport (ST) Corporation has decided to deploy 31 additional buses daily, bringing relief to passengers.

During summer holidays, the number of people travelling to their hometowns rises significantly. A large number of travellers head from the city to Pune, Nashik, Mumbai and other destinations. After railways, ST buses remain a preferred mode of transport. To ease the rush, the ST Corporation has introduced additional services.

Currently, 546 buses operate from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. From April 15, extra buses will be introduced on major routes, adding up to 31 additional buses and resulting in 89 extra trips daily, informed divisional controller Pramod Nehul. These additional buses will cover around 13,349 km daily, said divisional transport officer Santosh Ghane.
