A large crowd gathered at a petrol pump near Seven Hills on Jalna Road following rumours that pumps would remain closed the next day. The situation led to arguments and heated exchanges between citizens and petrol pump staff, with some individuals raising slogans and questioning the closure. According to sources, the rush was triggered by fake rumours circulating in the area, leading to panic among motorists and unnecessary crowding at the pump.

No need to panic

“Currently, we have sufficient fuel stock. Due to fake rumours, people gathered in large numbers and created a rush at the pump around 10 pm, even though the pump closes at that time and reopens at 6 am as per routine.” - Sayed Yusuf, Petrol Pump Manager, Jalna Road Petrol Pump
