A dispute over parking at Sai Nagar in Waluj Cidco Mahanagar-1 turned violent after a young man was allegedly assaulted with an iron lock on his head, leaving him injured. A case has been registered against a man and his wife at the MIDC Waluj police station.

According to the complaint, the complainant, Vikas Rathod (28, resident of Sai Nagar, Cidco), had come down on Sunday night to park his car. He noticed that a resident of the same apartment, Naresh Shinde, had parked a motorcycle in his designated parking space. When Rathod requested him to remove the vehicle, Shinde allegedly refused and abused him verbally. Later, some residents were called to resolve the dispute. During the discussion, Shinde and his wife allegedly abused Rathod and his sister. The situation escalated when Shinde allegedly assaulted Rathod and hit him on the head with an iron lock, causing injuries and bleeding. Local residents intervened and brought the situation under control. The accused also allegedly issued threats to damage Rathod’s vehicle and kill him. Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
