Aurangabad, Oct 24:

NCP city unit president Vijay Salve said that his party started preparations to contest upcoming Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) elections independently.

He was speaking in a review meeting organised at Rashtravadi Bhavan on Saturday afternoon.

Aspirants of the election attended the meeting. Vijay Salve said that NCP is a coalition partner of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), but, will do their preparations as a party.

He said that they would accept whatever final decision to be taken on time by the party seniors.

Working NCP city president Abhishek Deshmukh, city unit (women wing) president Meraj Patel, its youth wing city president Dutta Bhange, Amol Dandge, Rajaram More, Balasaheb Harbak Patil, Ankita Vidhate, Ayyub Khan and Prashant Jagtap, office-bearers and activists were present.
