MIT Hospital has completed 25 years of healthcare service in the city, with its management reaffirming commitment to ethical treatment and expansion of medical facilities in the coming years. The hospital, equipped with advanced infrastructure and NABH accreditation, marked its silver jubilee with a formal programme attended by senior officials and staff.

Director Dr. Sunil Deshpande said the hospital’s focus remained unchanged despite advancements in technology. “Technology has changed over 25 years, but our spirit of service remained constant. Patient satisfaction is our true reward,” he said. Dr Shakunatala Lomte, director general Prof. Munish Sharma, and chief administrative officer Dr Santosh Dhakane were present for the lamp-lighting ceremony. Prof. Sharma said the hospital plans to strengthen and expand its services to meet growing healthcare needs. Former directors Dr. Santosh Deshmukh and Dr. Atul Soni also shared their experiences. Cultural programmes and staff activities were organised, and the event was compered by PRO Sonali Kandharkar.
