Aurangabad, March 20:

The CT scan machine at the district civil hospital is defunct. As a result, corona patients have to be taken to Meltron covid care centre for CT scan. The hospital has paid Rs 1 lakh to the concerned company for repairing the CT scan. However, it is said that the technicians are not coming because of Covid-19. As a result, the repair of the device is delayed.

District surgeon Dr Sundar Kulkarni said that Rs 1 lakh and Rs 10,000 have been paid to the company for repairing the CT scan machine. But the company is saying that the technicians are not coming. There is a CT scan machine at Meltron. The radiologist of the district hospital is appointed at Meltron. Not every patient needs a CT scan. The hospital has a simple and digital X-ray facility. Only those in need are taken to Meltron for a CT scan.
