Various social and cultural programmes have been planned across the city to mark Shiv Jayanti on February 19. The police department has also deployed tight security arrangements in view of the celebrations. Against this backdrop, a meeting of public representatives, peace committee members, and Shiv Jayanti festival committee presidents and office-bearers has been organised by the police department at Tapadia Natya Mandir on Monday at 10 am. Deputy Commissioner of Police Ratnakar Navle has appealed to citizens and concerned stakeholders to attend the meeting.
