Auric City is set for a major transformation, with union Minister Piyush Goyal announcing that development will triple in the coming years. Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he assured that the government is committed to expanding infrastructure, fostering startups and boosting employment opportunities.

Goyal revealed plans for a 20,000 sq. ft. skill development centre and a 10,000 sq. ft. startup innovation hub, focusing on women entrepreneurs, sustainability, and cutting-edge innovation. He emphasized that these initiatives will create a strong foundation for businesses, ensuring a steady rise in job opportunities. The minister also announced we will definitely make an international convention centre and improve connectivity between all MIDC zones, making industrial operations smoother and more efficient. Stressing India’s economic progress, he highlighted the strengthening of the rupee against other currencies, signalling a rise in global confidence in the country’s financial stability. Auric City, India’s first greenfield industrial smart city, is emerging as a major investment hub. With plug-and-play infrastructure, seamless connectivity and a sustainability-driven approach, it is projected to attract investments exceeding Rs 63,000 crore and generate over 2 lakh jobs. Goyal assuredus that the government would implement a fast-track approval system for industries, ensuring swift clearances and hassle-free operations. He reaffirmed that the administration will work closely with industry leaders to ensure smooth execution and sustained progress. The announcement was made in the presence of senior leaders, including Rajya Sabha MP Dr Bhagwat Karad, MLA Anuradha Chavan, MP Sandipan Bhumare, Minister Atul Save and City President Shrish Bolarkar, who echoed support for the initiatives aimed at making Auric a prime destination for growth and investment.
