Aurangabad, Dec 27:
District Collector, Sunil Chavan visited the Gogababa Tekdi on Saturday morning and directed the officers to implement the sapling plantation special drive at the Tekdi. He told the officers to plant Baniyan, Pipal and tamrind saplings here. AMC additional commissioner, B B Nemane, Ravindra Nikam, Nandkishor Bhombe, forest officer Kale and others were present.
Chavan said, a planned draft for plantation should be prepared and implement accordingly. He will provide the required funds for it and even from the CSR funds if needed. He also directed for the water conservation in this area. He also interacted with the residents and told them about the importance of plantation.
