A girl living in the city for preparation of the Police Department Competitive Examination was sexually abused by a man by luring her with financial help and the false promise to marry her. He sexually abused the girl for three years and later dumped her by refusing to marry her. The girl has lodged a complaint against the man at the Cidco police station.

The 29 years old victim after completing her education till B.A second year came to Aurangabad for taking the training for the preparations of the police department competitive examination. She lived in a rented house with her friend. One day, she met the accused Shaikh Shakir Shaikh Qasim (30) at TV Centre Chowk, who also belonged to her native place. After frequent meetings, they came close. He proposed to her in October 2017 and lured her with the false promise of getting married. Both of them lived like husband and wife in a rented near Sai Mandir, TV Centre. He established sexual relations with the girl. Later, he started ignoring her, and frequent quarrels erupted between them. Hence, the girl went to her village. After one month, Shakir again called her and asked her to come to Aurangabad. They again lived together in a rented house near the Godavari School area. In the period 2017 to 2020, they had sexual relations. Last May, the girl asked him for marriage, but Shakir severely beat her and refused the marriage. Hence, she approached the police now, while Lady PSI Abuj is further investigating the case.
