In a tragic accident, a speeding tempo got overturned near National Sutgirni (in Sillod), on Bharadi to Borgaon Bazar, and the vehicle driver died on February 16 at 2 pm. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case against the deceased driver holding him responsible for his death on Thursday night.

Police said, “ The tempo driver Shekhar Rustom Sonawane (32, in Kannad tehsil) was driving the vehicle (bearing number MH 4 FP 6721) in a very irresponsible manner on February 16 afternoon. As a result, the tempo turned topsy-turvy near the National Sutgirni and the driver Shekhar died on the spot.”

Meanwhile, a case has been filed against tempo driver Shekhar at the Sillod Rural Police Station for being responsible for his death.
