Aurangabad, July 10:

The Kranti Chowk police have facilitated the investigation in the case of the beating of Ashraf Motivala over a property dispute and registered the statements of the witnesses. The police conducted panchnama on Friday.

Ashraf Motiwal was beaten up, and his wife was mistreated at Nirala Trade Centre. A case in this regard was registered at Kranti Chowk police station on July 8 night against Atik Motiwala and Ashfaq Motiwala. The police have now facilitated the investigation and registered the statements of the witnesses.

Meanwhile, Juveria Motiwala lodged a complaint at the Jinsi police station stating that some persons threatened them at the gate of their house when they returned by submitting a complaint against Atik and Ashfaq Motiwala at Kranti Chowk police station.
