Aurangabad, July 3:

The Waluj MIDC police conducted a raid on a brothel at Wadgaon Kolhati area on Friday night and arrested a mistress, two customers, and rescued seven women, forcibly dragged in the flesh trade.

PI Madhukar Sawant received the information from an informer that an illegal flesh trade is being operated at the Wadgaon Kolhati area. Accordingly, the police laid a trap and sent a fake customer to the brothel. He asked the mistress to show the girls, and he was demanded Rs 100. Seven women were shown to him. Then, he signaled the police to raid the brothel. The police arrested the mistress Gita alias Asha Kadam, customers Vishal Govind Aade (26, Vishrantinagar, Mukundwadi), and Monu Gayaprasad Sagar (28, Bhagatsinghnagar, Harsul). The police seized condom packets and cash Rs 7,080 and rescued seven victims.

The raid was executed under the guidance of commissioner of police Dr Nikhil Gupta, DCP Deepak Girhe, ACP Vivek Saraf by PI Madhukar Sawant, API Gautam Wavale, PSI Prashant Gambhirrao, ASI Ramdas Gadekar, constable Nawab Shaikh, Fakirchand Phade, Sanjay Hambir, Prakash Gaikwad, Pradeep Kute, Sunita Bahure, Aarti Kusale, and others. PI Sawant is further investigating the case.
