Aurangabad, Nov 29:

The Aurangabad rural crime branch police on Sunday chased and caught a notorious criminal involved in various crimes. A country-made revolver, four cartridges, four mobiles and a two-wheeler worth Rs 1.50 lakh were seized from him. The accused is identified as Kishore Pawar (Wadigodri, Jalna, currently living at Pachod, Shivajinagar).

According to police, Aurangabad rural crime branch police inspector Bhagwat Funde, head constable Dheeraj Jadhav, Shrimant Bhalerao, Sanjay Kale, Pramod Khandebharad, Sheikh Nadeem, Narendra Khandare and Umesh Bakle had come to Pachod for investigation in the triple murder case at old Kawasan near Paithan. Meanwhile, they received information that a criminal in Pachod having a country made revolver. Considering the seriousness, Funde informed this information to superintendent of police Mokshada Patil. After getting orders from Patil, the squad set a trap in front of the Pachod bus stand. After the accused Kishor Pawar arrived there, the police chased him and caught the suspect. The police seized the firearms, four live cartridges, four mobile phones and a two-wheeler from his possession. A case has been registered in the Pachod police station.
