Police hawaldar’s wife, facing mental problems committed suicide at Mill Corner police colony on November 16.

The deceased has been identified as Manorama Sanjay Mundale. PI, Sachin Sanap said, Manorama faced mental problems was being treated by a psychiatrist for the past 30 years. On November 16, she hanged herself in the bedroom at around 7.30 pm. As she did not come out the room for a long time, her relatives broke the door and found her hanging. They immediately rushed her to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctors declared her dead after examination. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Begumpura police station. Manorama’s husband is posted at the police head quarters.
