Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has made all its services available digitally for consumers and is encouraging the use of these facilities. In the current financial year, power consumers in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar circle have availed discounts worth nearly Rs 5.75 crore by opting for digital options and making prompt electricity bill payments.

Consumers who pay their electricity bills within seven days of the billing date are eligible for a prompt payment rebate of nearly 1 per cent on the total amount (excluding taxes and charges). In addition, those who pay their bills through digital modes receive a digital payment discount of 0.25 per cent on the bill amount (excluding taxes and charges). Consumers opting for the ‘go green’ service and receiving their bills via email instead of printed copies are given a discount of Rs 10 per month.

MSEDCL has appealed to consumers to pay their electricity bills online regularly and on time, and to opt for the go green service for electricity bills.
