Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Residents of Safalyanagar and Mhasobanagar have faced frequent power cuts seven to eight times a day for the past two months causing major inconvenience, especially for senior citizens, patients, women, and children due to heat and nighttime outages.

People say repeated complaints to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) have not helped, with calls often not connecting or being met with assurances like “we will send someone.” Residents also allege officials cited high load and inability to fix the issue. Locals have warned of protests if the situation does not improve.
