The state home department has initiated transfers of senior police officers across Maharashtra. As part of the reshuffle, IPS officer Prashant Mohite, currently serving in Navi Mumbai, has been appointed as deputy commissioner of police (DCP) in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city.
