Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will arrive at the city airport at 10 am on Wednesday. From there, she will immediately depart for Shegaon by helicopter. In view of her visit, the district and the police administration have made elaborate preparations. The Public Works Department (PWD) has completed a structural audit of the airport building. To ensure uninterrupted power supply during the visit, MSEDCL will remain on alert and has deployed engineers for the purpose.

BSNL has established a separate arrangement for high-speed internet and telephone connectivity. Special beds have been reserved at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and Dhoot Hospital, along with a cardiac ambulance on standby. A team of specialist doctors has been instructed to remain in alert mode. Tight police security arrangements will be in place across the city. The district collector and the commissioner of police personally reviewed all arrangements.

A list of 22 dignitaries, including city ministers, MPs and MLAs, was sent to Rashtrapati Bhavan. Out of them, seven have been granted permission to welcome the President. The guardian minister, two MPs, four MLAs, along with district collector, the divisional commissioner and the commissioner of police, will receive the President.
