Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Dr Uttam Ambhore, Principal of A.K. College of Arts, Commerce, and Science in Chauka, has resigned after the institution failed to pay his salary for an entire year. Despite stepping down, his dues remain unsettled, prompting him to seek intervention from the university administration.

Dr Ambhore, a retired professor from the English Department at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, took charge as principal on June 8, 2023. The appointment, sanctioned by the university, was for a five-year term under Adarsh Shikshan Sanstha. However, since joining, he has not received his salary or honorarium.

Frustrated by repeated failed attempts to secure his payment, Dr Ambhore resigned on June 14, 2024. He contacted the institution multiple times, sent messages, and even involved faculty members to relay his concerns. The administration, however, remained unresponsive. Left with no option, he has now formally approached the university for resolution.

No Response Even After Resignation

"Despite my five-year appointment as Principal, I was not paid my salary for a year. I repeatedly reached out to the institution, but after receiving no response, I had no choice but to resign. Even after stepping down, my concerns were ignored. That is why I have approached the university administration."
