Aurangabad, Dec 19:

A prisoner of Harsul Prison escaped from the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) by dodging the police on December 5 was arrested by the crime branch police on Saturday. The prisoner, Kishor Vilas Avhad was sentenced seven years imprisonment last January on the charges of attempt to molest a mother and daughter duo. He was in the Harsul Prison since then. On December 3 ninght , he was admitted to the GMCH due to the complaint of stomach pain. He was handcuffed to the bed there. As the guards had gone to other ward to bring the CT Scan report, Kishor taking advantage of the opportunity escaped from the ward. A case was registered in this regard at the Begumpura police station and the police launched a massive manhunt for him. Meanwhile, the crime branch police on Saturday morning received an information that he was at Yeshwantnagar in Pundliknagar area. Under the guidance of PI Anil Gaikwad, API Ajabsingh Jarwal, hawaldar Prakash Chavan, Sandeep Sanap, Prabhakar Raut rushed to the railway tract at Yashwantnagar where he was standing and arrested him. He has been handed over to the Begumpura police for further action.
