The Bhimkesari wrestling competition was organised at the TV Centre Ground by the Samarth Kamgar Sanghatana.

The highlight of the event was the main bout between Prithviraj Mohol (Maharashtra Kesari) and Gogi Punjabi (Punjab Kesari). A cash prize of Rs 5 lakh along with a silver mace was awarded to the winner. In this thrilling contest, Prithviraj Mohol clinched victory, winning the hearts of the audience.

Attractive cash prizes were also announced for matches across various weight categories, adding to the competitiveness of the tournament.

The event was attended by guardian minister Sanjay Shirsat, former union minister Bhagwat Karad, along with Dinkar Onkar, Milind Dabhade, Nandkumar Ghodele and other dignitaries.

The competition was organised under the leadership of Samarth Kamgar Sanghatana chief Chetan Tayade. The matches were successfully conducted under the supervision of chief referee Hansraj Dongre, along with referees Akshay Wagh, Bhau Autade, Haridas Mhaske, Somnath Bakhale, Arjun Autade and others.
