Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University will organise various programmes including a lecture and procession on February 19 to celebrate Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti

Director of Student Development Board Dr Kailash Ambhure said that

a lecture by renowned writer, thinker and political commentator Dr Prakash Pawar would be organised.

Powda was held by Shivshahir Sainath Ingle on Tuesday.

A procession of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's portrait will be taken out from the statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar to Shivaji Maharaj statue, between 8 am to 10 am, on February 19.

The main programme will be hosted on the lawns opposite the administrative building of the campus.

Dr Prakash Pawar, the author of the currently popular book 'Sakaljanwadi Shivarai', will share his thoughts in the lecture. Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari will preside over the event.

Pro-VC Dr Walmik Sarwade, Management Council member Dr Ravikiran Sawant and Dr Aparna Patil will be the chief guests. Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar and Student Development Director Dr Kailash Ambhure have appealed to all to attend the programmes.
