Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A procession of portraits of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar was taken out in Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on Monday morning as part of the celebration of his birth anniversary.
It may be noted that Bamu the university hosted ‘Dr Ambedkar Jayanti Mahotsav’ as part of Dr Ambedkar’s Jayanti celebration between April 7 and 14. different programmes held in the Mahotsav. Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari flagged off the procession after garlanding the statue of Dr Ambedkar near the university gate.
Top officers of the university including Director of Student Development Dr Kailas Ambhure, Director of Study Centre Dr Chandrakant Kokate and others, participated in the procession.
