Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The office of the Aurangabad Cantonment Board (ACB) has initiated the process of renaming the board by publishing a public notice in the newspapers on February 18.

Through notice, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Akanksha Tiwari has appealed the citizens to submit their objections (if any) within 30 days from the date of publication, in the office of the ACB.

The notice mentioned that the Maharashtra Government has issued a notification on September 15, 2023 regarding the rechristening the name of the Aurangabad district as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Hence the board is located within the district, therefore, the proposal of renaming ACB has been started.
