Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

In a fit of revenge, a panchayat samiti (PS) office employee forcibly entered his colleague's house and threatened him with dire consequences, holding him responsible for his transfer and a loss of Rs 10 lakh. The incident occurred at Radhaswamy Colony in Harsul on March 11 at 9.30 pm.

A case has been registered at Harsul police station against Dhananjay Yeshwant Paikrao, Amol Ratnaparkhe (of Jalna) and two other accomplice.

The complainant Vishwanath Kakade and the accused Paikrao work in the panchayat samiti office. On March 11 evening, when Kakade was at home, the accused forcibly entered the house. Paikrao whisked out a sharp-edged knife and threw it in the direction of Kakade. Later on, two of his accomplices started beating him with kicks and blows. Paikarao repeatedly claimed that he had been transferred because of Kakade and sustained a loss of Rs 10 lakh due to it. He also asked Kakade to repay the loss.

When the accused and his accomplice saw the neighbours gathering, they fled away in a car. While going away, Ratnaparkhe threatened Kakade of dire consequences. PSI Sachin Pagote is investigating the case.
