Pundliknagar nab country liquor shop burglars within 4 hours of incident

Aurangabad, Jan 21:

The Pundliknagar police nabbed four persons burgling a country liquor shop within four hours of the incident on Thursday.

The arrested accused have been identified as Bhagwan Vasantrao Jaiswal (40, Mukundwadi, Railway Station area) Pawan Vijay Jatekar (31) and Ganesh Gawde (29, both residents of Chelipura area) and Prashant Dattaprasad Shirosiya (40, Kelibazar).

As per the complaint lodged by Nitesh Jaiswal, who runs a country liquor shop situated in the limits of Mukundwadi Railway Station area lodged a complaint stating that unidentified burglars in the wee hours of Thursday targeted his country liquor shop in the limits of Pundaliknagar police station and walked away with 28 boxes of liquor and DVR of the CCTV cameras installed at the shop.

During investigation, it was revealed that Bhagwan is the relative of the manager of the shop Nitesh Jaiswal. He took help of Ganesh, Pawan and Prashant to burgle the shop. Bhagwan took the watchman of the country liquor shop to his farm on the pretext of some work. Afterwards, Pawan and Ganesh cut open the grills and stole the liquor boxes. They took the stolen articles to Prashant’s house at Kelibazar and hide it there. The police on suspicion first arrested Bhagwan who told the police about the plan and then the police arrested rest of his accomplices. The police have seized the liquor boxes from the house of Prashant at Kelibazar.
