Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

From 26 January, the Nanded–Pune Express will terminate at Hadapsar instead of Pune Junction. The last train to Pune ran on 25 January. Central Railway has stood firm despite six MPs’ letters requesting continuation to Pune, drawing criticism for being unfair to Marathwada passengers. Many travelers from Marathwada, including Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, rely on this train for work, business, or education. Arun Meghraj and Dayanand Dixit of the Marathwada Railway Passengers Federation said MPs’ letters received no response. The train will still appear as ‘Pune Express’ in online booking.
