Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: City-based veteran CA R B Sharma has been unanimously elected as the Zonal President of the Vipra Foundation, an organisation representing the Rajasthani Vipra community.

The organisation's Annual General Meeting was recently held at Pushkar, Rajasthan. During this meeting, R B Sharma was elected to the post of zonal president.

He has been entrusted with the responsibility for the States of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

Suresh Parik was elected as the National Secretary, while Rajesh Butole and Dr Santosh Upadhyay were appointed to the National Executive Committee.

Also, from the State, Ramkishan Purohit (Nanded), adv Ramesh Sharma (Parbhani), Damodar Pandey (Khamgaon), Bankatlal Khandelwal (Jalna), Shamsundar Joshi and Zumberlal Upadhye (Nashik), B N Sharma and Rambhau Parik (Pune) were appointed to the National Executive Committee.

Ramniwas Gaud has been elected as the President of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Zone, and Pawan Joshi (Jalna) has been elected as the General Secretary for a tenure of two years.
