Radhika Merchant, daughter-in-law of Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries and director of Encore Healthcare Private Limited, paid her second visit in three months to her pharmaceutical manufacturing project at Paithan MIDC on Thursday at 10.30 am.

She arrived by helicopter at the Sant Eknath Cooperative Sugar Factory helipad, accompanied by her father and industrialist Viren Merchant, and proceeded to the project site under tight police security amid large crowds. During the one-day visit, she reviewed production quality, assessed ongoing project progress and held discussions with senior officials regarding future expansion plans. Senior MIDC officials, local administration representatives and company experts were also present. Her previous visit to the project was on December 1–2, 2025. Her frequent visits are widely seen as indicative of significant upcoming investment and potential job creation in Paithan MIDC.
