Heavy rainfall on Saturday flooded railway tracks at several locations, delaying the Vande Bharat Express and Mumbai–Jalna Jan Shatabdi Express by about an hour.

Water flowing over the tracks forced the Mumbai–Jalna Jan Shatabdi Express to stop for 40 minutes between Nagarsol and Rotegaon. Passengers reported that officials halted the train to ensure safety. As a result, the train, scheduled to arrive at 6.30 pm, reached Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 7.48 pm. Rain also delayed the Vande Bharat Express from Mumbai, which arrived at 8 pm instead of the scheduled 7 pm. Railway officials confirmed that other trains ran on time.
