Aurangabad, May 2:

Rashi Harish Jakhete was selected for Eiffel Excellence Scholarship offered by the Education Ministry of France.

She is a national-level athletics gold medalist and student of Omkar Vidyalaya. She will leave for France to pursue a postgraduate degree course in international tourism.

Rashi took admission in MSc in International Tourism and Destination Management’ course at Excelia Group-LA Rochelle Business School at city Tours in France. The college, after admission, forwarded her name for the scholarship to the Ministry of Education of France. She avail of the scholarship for one and half years.

Significantly, she did her school from Marathi medium. Her father Harish and Mother Seema Jakhete, relatives and friends congratulated Rashi on her selection.

She got a job as a trainer at the British Institute of Pune. Rashi gave credit for success to her English language teacher Raghuvir Kulkarni.
