Aurangabad, July 11:

Twenty shops in the municipal shopping complex at T V Center will be auctioned again. The corporation had auctioned 50 shops here. Out of them, 20 owners did not pay the amount. Their deposit of Rs 1 lakh has been confiscated. The traders are not ready to take over the shops due to the oppressive conditions of the corporation.

A shopping complex has been set up near the T V Centre ground. There are a total of 50 small and big shops in this complex. The shops were auctioned off before construction. Shops were offered to the highest bidder. A deposit of Rs 1 lakh was taken from each person. The shops were built and ready. The 30 persons paid the remaining amount to the municipal corporation and took possession and 20 persons have not paid the remaining amount. Therefore, it has been decided to auction the shops anew. However, traders are expressing displeasure over the conditions like a 30 year contract and fixed charges to be paid every month. The traders said that they can buy their own shop from the amount they are paying to the corporation.
