Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Electricity bill arrears have become a serious concern in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Latur circles of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). Every unit of electricity consumed must be recovered through bill payments. Consumers who fail to pay their electricity bills should face disconnection of power supply as per rules. The entire pending dues must be recovered during March under any circumstances, directed MSEDCL director (operations/projects) Sachin Talewar.

Talewar issued the instructions while reviewing the performance of superintending engineers and executive engineers from the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Latur circles during a divisional review meeting held in the city on Sunday. Chief engineers Pawankumar Kachhot and Arvind Bulbule were present at the meeting.

Felicitation of women officers and staff

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Talewar felicitated several women officers and employees from the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar circle. Those honoured included superintending engineer (infrastructure planning) Beena Sawant, assistant general manager (human resources) Shilpa Kabra, executive engineer (testing department) Pranita Bhalerao, executive engineer (administration) Prerna Bankar, senior technician Ashwini Salve, technicians Dipali Shinde, Kranti Mhaskey, and Jyoti Holkar.
