Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A demand has been raised to immediately remove smart meters installed without following proper rules and reinstall old digital meters. In a representation to the Chief Minister, Central Consumer Protection Committee chairman adv Mirza Javed N. Beg and district consumer council member Amol Chatur-Jain stated that meters can be legally replaced only if they are faulty, burnt, or technically defective. They alleged that these norms are not being followed.
