Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

As part of Republic Day celebrations, various programs have been organised across the city. The traffic police have announced that due to events at Kranti Chowk, the area will remain closed to all types of traffic on Monday from 10 am to 12 pm.

On the initiative of the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA), a garden developed at Kranti Chowk to preserve the memory of freedom fighters will host a grand flag hoisting ceremony for Republic Day. The garden features a 210-foot-high flagpole and a Param Vir Chakra gallery. The program is scheduled on January 26, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm, and is expected to see the participation of freedom fighters, citizens from various fields, and CMIA officials.

Considering the expected crowd, police officials have announced that the route from Kranti Chowk to Gopal T will be closed to all vehicles on both sides during the event.

Use these alternative routes:

Chunnilal Petrol Pump → SSC Board → BJP Office

Gopal T → Sant Eknath Rangmandir → Utsav Chowk → Ramanagar

Traffic authorities have requested commuters to follow these routes to avoid congestion.
