Vote counting for Zilla Parishad elections under the city police commissionerate limits will be held on Monday at the Government Polytechnic College, Padampura. In view of this, traffic police have closed the VITS Hotel–Gade Chowk (Peer Bazaar) road for all vehicles from 6 am(Monday) until the counting process concludes.

Polling was conducted peacefully on Saturday at 275 booths in 106 buildings under six police stations. To ensure smooth counting, entry within a 200-metre radius of the centre has been restricted to authorised staff, officials and media, as per orders of police commissioner Pravin Pawar.

Commuters have been advised to use alternative routes via VITS Hotel–Konkanwadi Chowk–Gopal Tea Point–Utsav Chowk–Bhajivali Bai Statue Chowk–Peer Bazaar Chowk–Gade Chowk, or VITS Hotel Chowk–Railway Station Chowk–Mahanubhav Chowk–MIT flyover–Shahanurmiya Dargah Chowk–Bhajivali Bai Statue Chowk–Peer Bazaar Chowk–Gade Chowk–Utsav Chowk.
