The district supply officer had directed petrol pumps to limit fuel for two-wheelers to Rs 200 amid the ongoing shortage. However, on the very first day of implementation, several pumps were seen dispensing Rs 300 to Rs 800 worth of petrol to select riders, triggering anger among others.

Agitated motorists questioned the apparent disparity, asking why some were given more fuel despite clear instructions. Videos of the alleged violations have gone viral on social media, raising concerns over the ineffective enforcement of administrative orders.
