Aurangabad, May 15: Retired Commissioner, Central Excise Sanjeev Gangadhar Dewalwar (IRS) passed away today. He was 62. He was on the life support system from the last 13 days. He had completed his school and college education in Aurangabad and later joined IPS (Bihar Cadre which he left). He preferred Indian Revenue Service. He was active in the movement for renaming of the then Marathwada University and was imprisoned for some period. He is survived by his wife, two sons and extended family.
