There is currently a mismatch in certain areas between the skills that the industry requires and those possessed by the youth in our country. Hence, the Indian automotive sector may face a huge void if the structured reforms and initiatives are not taken to bridge the skilled workforce's demand-supply mismatch. To avoid this situation and improve skills of existing workforce Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship introduced Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP).

Training in the following subjects

CNC programming and operations, advanced welding technology, robotic technology and operations are identified for training as a need for industries in the Aurangabad. These training will help the Aurangabad region enhance the ecosystem of skill training and meet the growing demands of skill across the region. Trainees will be awarded a certified trainer certificate from ASDC, GIZ, and MAC in the convocation ceremony after completing the training.
