Aurangabad, July 5:

The Science and Technology Van of the Science, Technology and Innovation Hub of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) will be dedicated to the public in a programme to be held at 11 am on July 6.

Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole will dedicate the van on Tuesday.

The Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India approved the Innovation Hub project for the university to empower Schedule Caste and Tribe youths. The university will get Rs 2.62 crore in the next three years. The university adopted six villages at Kannad tehsil for the project.

The Technology Van was developed for the project. Project chief Dr M D Shirsath, Dr Bharati Gawali and Dr Arvind Dhabe will also grace the programme.
