A man was seriously injured after his scooter rammed into a parked truck in the Bajajnagar area on Sunday morning.

Ganesh Shinde (32, Shivajinagar, Beed Bypass), was seriously injured on Sunday morning when his scooter rammed into a parked Eicher truck (MH-20-AT-5550) in the Bajajnagar area. Shinde was travelling to purchase puja materials for Mohata Devi when he failed to notice the stationary truck, which had been parked on the roadside due to a puncture. His scooter got lodged underneath the vehicle. The truck driver immediately rushed to assist and initiated shifting the injured to hospital. Dial 112 police constables Suhas Munde and Bansode reached the spot promptly and, with the help of a rickshaw driver, transported Shinde to a hospital in Waluj. Traffic was disrupted briefly due to the accident. Police have urged drivers to place proper warning signs when parking on roadsides and advised motorists to remain alert.
