The South Central Railway (SCR, Nanded Division) has decided to operate the Nanded-Panvel-Nanded Express train (number 07314/07313) on the Parbhani-Aurangabad-Manmad route from March 18.
Earlier, the regular route of the train is through Parli and Latur. A few months ago, the division had cancelled 18 trips of the express train due to technical reasons, including ongoing works of laying tracks by Central Railway (Solapur Division). However, on-demand of the passengers, the train will now ply on on the diverted route Parbhani-Aurangabad-Manmad. The special train will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (four times a week), stated the press release.
The release issued by the PRO Rajesh Shinde mentioned the change in train number (from 07614 to 07314) and diversion of the route (from Parli-Latur to Parbhani-Aurangabad) before resuming the service for a temporary period. " As per the new time-table, the train (number 07314) would leave Nanded at 5.35 pm and reach Panvel at 12.30 pm. It will reach Parbhani at 6.50 pm, Jalna at 8.32 pm, Aurangabad at 10.05 pm, Manmad at 1.35 am, and Pune at 9.30 am. On its return journey, the train (07313) will depart from Panvel at 4 pm and reach Nanded at 11 am. It will reach Manmad at 4.10 am, Aurangabad at 6.15 am, Jalna at 7.02 am, and Parbhani at 8.47 am," stated the release.
