The director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Thursday postponed the seat allocation of the first special round of 11th class admissions.

The seat allotment was to be carried on December 24.

It may be noted that all three Centralised Admission Process (CAP) were completed and the special round started on December 20.

The vacancy list was already released on Sunday.

The seat allocation was to be done on Thursday.

However, the State Government issued a Government Resolution (GR) on December 23 to provide the benefit of Economic Weaker Section (EWS) toocially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) candidates.

These candidates can now apply for the admission under the EWS category.

The schedule of seat allotment of the special round will be announced later.
