Aurangabad, Dec 16:

A total of 1872 students were allotted seat in the third round of Centralised Admission Process (CAP) of the eleventh admission.

The candidates will have to join the college on or before December 18. Of them, 736 has confirmed their admissions till today.

Over 6,100 students confirmed their admissions in the first round while in the second round it was 2,909. There are 31,465 seats in 116 colleges of the city for the academic year 2020-21. A total of 25,775 had registered, while 20,368 verified it.

Thousands of seats are vacant even if the third CAP ends after two days. The seats will be filled for minority quota and inhouse quota on December 18 and 19. A special admissions round will be declared to fill the vacant seats.
