Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University's Gautam Buddha Study Centre and Department of Tourism Administration jointly conducted a seminar on Buddhist Art and Architecture on Buddha Poornima.

In her introductory speech, Dr Madhuri Sawant, Director of the Study Centre and Convener of the seminar, outlined the core objectives and academic goals of the session.

Shashank Sonwane, Head, Dept of Pali and Buddhism, provided a comprehensive overview of the evolution of Buddhism through the ages. Dr Subhash Jadhav and Dr Rajesh Ragde also guided the participants.

The seminar saw active engagement from 58 participants, including students and PhD scholars from the departments of Pali, Buddhism, History, Archaeology, Library Science, and Tourism. Antara Paikrao conducted the proceedings. Dr Tushar Tingote, Ajaykumar Raut and Yashwant Sable were present for the event.
