Aurangabad, Jan 8: The local crime branch of the Aurangabad rural and Gangapur police yesterday arrested servant Akshay Prakash Jadhav (27, Old Kavsan, Maliwadi, Paithan tehsil) for killing his former employer Raju alias Sambhaji Narayan Nivare (35), his wife Ashwini (30) and daughter Sayali (9) at Kavsan village in Paithan tehsil of the district.

As reported earlier, the three were found murdered at their home at Kavsan with their throats slit with sharp-edged weapon, on November 28, 2020.

During the investigations, it was revealed that Akshay killed the three as Sambhaji had sacked him a year ago. Sambhaji’s son Soham (7) was also injured in the attack but survived as the accused thought that he was dead.
